search wildcard for Diagram Explorer
Unless I'm missing something, it appears the search in Diagram Explorer does not have wildcard functionality. E.g. if I want to find a column called new_project I cannot find it by searching using the term project.

Dear User,
Unfortunately, we do not have wildcard search functionality.
But I think this is good idea. We are glad you created this "Idea" ticket. We will discuss it with our team and work on it.
For now try using "Database Explorer" to search for your column as it contains all the elements for your project, and expand the table/s to find your column.
In following example, I showed how to find column "Quantity".
Thank you for your assistance,
SqlDBM Team
The problem is I'm working on a large model with several team members and I don't know which table contains the field for which I'm looking. I also don't know the exact name. Similar to the diagram explorer, the database explorer needs a wildcard search. The same problem exists... E.g. if I want to find a column called new_project I cannot find it by searching using the term project.
Dear User,
I agree WildCard search could be useful in this case.
Surely, I will discuss this within our time and put it in our development pipeline.
Thanks,
Team - SqlDBM
This wildcard search functionality in the forward engineer would be also invaluable for searching for specific tables to deploy. That and the ability to filter by schema when trying to select which tables to generate.
I agree with this idea. It would be very useful to be able to search for Column Names, within Table and Column Descriptions and maybe even for specific data types. Is this something that is planned for future development?
