Hello, it sounds like you could try the Auto-Layout function (try "Star Layout") to lay your table out in a more concise, clear view. This should help with your relationship lines. We are also working on furthering our logical modeling functionality (including the ability to move relationship lines), but that is on our roadmap.
Just an add-on to this question. With Star Schemas, I like using straight relationship lines vs. ones with right angle bends in them. It doesn't appear SqlDBM gives me that option ... is that something that is on the roadmap? Thanks
