Note box should be dinamically resized

helpdesk 5 years ago updated by anonymous 5 years ago 10

I suggest that the note box should be resized by dragging his shape. I was working on a design and I desired to put a note, and actually has a bunch of words, but the way how it looks isn't that user friendly.

Please, check below how it looks:

Also, it would be nice that a note can be related to a table (there's a description field on table's panel but it's use to describe the table, not for add specific notes).

Regards,

Alfonso

Just find out that you need to use Shift+Return to create a new line on the note.

I'm still seeing this issue as originally posted. Manually trying to resize the note field while editing does not have any effect.

You can use shift+enter to start a new line.

shift+enter is the temporary fix. The original request was "I suggest that the note box should be resized by dragging his shape."

Shit+enter works but is tedious and even worse when you want to edit the text in the note so that it doesn't break the size of the note or look un-formatted. Right now it looks like the resize handle of the note was removed from the app and shift+enter designated as the fix when shift+enter had been the hack to workaround from the beginning.
