Feature Request: Ability to change revision name by completely erasing existing name

Currently, when backspacing over the existing revision name, when the last character is removed, immediately it's replaced with a default name. No time is allowed to enter a new name.

The work around is to remove all characters except for the first one, enter the new name and then remove the 1st letter left over for the prior name

Preferably, one should  be able to remove all characters from the name and type a new one. If the cursor leaves the field when its blank, then a default name can be added.
