Ability to define view structure similar to a TABLE and tag columns

Hi All,

I understand currently views are generated off the SQL supplied to the application.  The challenge at times  is this means you can not design something unless code is complete.

Requested Feature:

• Ability to define the view structure (attributes) similar to a table object. 
• Allow the metadata updating against the attributes. (Comments, Tags etc)
• The view SQL then could be amended post development
