Q: What is the origin and source of the AI system?
A: SqlDBM AI Copilot is built by SqlDBM. The application logic, context management, and product integration are proprietary to SqlDBM. The underlying models are frontier LLMs accessed through AWS Bedrock infrastructure.
Q: Who hosts the AI system?
A: Third-party hosted. The hosting vendor is Amazon Web Services (AWS), specifically the AWS Bedrock service. Model providers deliver weights to AWS; AWS hosts and runs the models in isolated deployment accounts.
Q: Is the AI pre-trained or does it require additional training using our data?
A: Pre-trained. Copilot uses frontier LLMs accessed through AWS Bedrock. No additional training is performed using customer data. Customer data is never used to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI model.
Q: How frequently is the AI system updated?
A: SqlDBM does not update or retrain the underlying models. LLM providers release updated model versions on their own cadence, which SqlDBM may adopt. When a new model version is adopted, customers are notified and can opt in. SqlDBM does not auto-transition to a different model without consent, as this would change consumption characteristics.
