Bring your support conversations into Slack. Once connected, you can create and track support tickets, get real-time updates, and reply to our team — all without leaving your workspace.
SqlDBM - Slack integration will allow you to chose notification channel: you can pick, slack, email or both.
Before you start
Make sure you have the following:
- An active SqlDBM account that you can sign in to.
- Permission to install apps in your Slack workspace. If you're not a Slack admin, you may see a request-approval prompt — that's normal, and your admin will need to approve it.
- The Slack workspace you want to connect already open in your browser or desktop app.
Step 1 — Open the integrations settings
- Sign in to SqlDBM and go to Integrations → Communications.
- Find Slack in the list of available integrations.
- Click Connect.
Step 2 — Authorize the connection
- A Slack window will open asking you to choose a workspace. Pick the one you want to connect.
- Review the permissions SqlDBM is requesting, then click Allow.
- You'll be returned to SqlDBM with a Connected confirmation.
Note: Authorizing the app lets SqlDBM send messages to channels or DMs. It does not give access to your other private channels or DMs.
Step 3 — Choose where updates appear
- Invite @SqlDBM bot to the channel you want to get notifications to.
- Select that channel at SqlDBM Communications setting page.
- Click Save.
You're all set!
